Measures during the COVID-19 pandemic

In response to the global public health situation of the COVID-19 virus, Medis will adhere to practices from established governmental and medical sources, including the World Health Organization (WHO), the US Center for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) and the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM).

As such, we have implemented a contingency plan and additional controls to counter the spread and impact of the disease among our staff, partners, customers and the general public, as per the following:

  • We have required all staff to work from home as of March 16, and otherwise coordinate as possible to avoid physical contact (especially operations teams)
  • We have required all staff to limit business visits and where possible connect remotely
  • We have required all staff to apply great caution with regional travel movements
  • We have required all staff with suspected symptoms, or who have visited an identified risk area recently, to remain at home and avoid all social contacts
  • We have restricted all international travel for employees abroad and between our offices

In the past 2 weeks, Medis has performed an IT assessment, to secure a proper functioning of our infrastructure when our employees are restricted to work from home only. Email communication is guaranteed and our regular telephone numbers will be re-routed to our home offices and cell phone numbers.

Therefore, for you, as a (potential) customer, partner, business partner, or supplier the services of Medis will remain available during this period, mostly through the regular channels. In case of emergency or when your regular business contacts cannot be reached , the following address can be contacted: Support@medis.nl and/or you can also visit: https://www.medis.nl/support/

With this action plan, we remain confident that we can continue a “business as usual” operational solution and keep the inconveniences to a minimum and at the same time contribute to stopping further spreading of the virus. Naturally, our response plans for both employee safety and business continuity will continue to evolve as further updates regarding COVID-19 become available.
