ROMICAT II score derived from high-risk plaque features is independent predictor of ACS.

The team of Udo Hoffmann at MGH, Boston validated the ROMICAT score which was derived from semi-automated quantitative measures of high-risk plaque features using Medis QAngio CT analytical software. They concluded that the score was an independent predictor of ACS during the index hospitalization and was incremental to gender and presence of > 50% stenosis.
